The Story Behind the Saw
Hello, my name is Nick Williams. I’m a second-generation carpenter, born and raised right here in Colorado. Building has always been a part of my life—starting with an obsession with Legos that has grown into full-blown renovations. After earning my degree in Environmental Economics from CSU, I found my way back to what I love most: creating things with my own two hands. My economic background keeps me thinking about how to build smarter and more sustainably. For me, sustainability isn’t just about materials—it’s about building right the first time and ensuring every project is built to last.
When I’m not on the job, you’ll find me somewhere in the mountains. Depending on the season, I’m skiing the Rockies, biking the trails, or camping under the stars—sometimes combining them all! I take pride in every aspect of my life—from my love of endurance sports, to every saw cut and finishing touch, to the relationships I build with my clients. I believe great work goes hand-in-hand with great communication, and I strive to make every project as smooth and collaborative as it is well-crafted.
